Stylist Elysze Held shares with us her picks of who stood out in style this month at a bevy of fabulous events: A reception at Van Cleef & Arpels in Bal Harbour, hosted by mogul Russell Simmons to benefit Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation; Miami City Ballet’s Opening Season with Romeo & Juliet; The Premiere of the Italian Film Festival with Italian film star Maria Grazia Cucinotta; the launch of Related Group’s SLS Lux with a fashion presentation by Neiman Marcus Coral Gables; American Cancer Society’s “Inner Circle of Twelve” luncheon with MC Belkys Nerey; the cherished Key to the Cure at Saks Bal Harbour; Big Brothers and Big Sisters’ Jazz at Joe’s; Gallery Night at Mayda Cisneros’ to benefit Miami Children’s Hospital; “Art to Wear” Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Rik-Rak; and the UBER-Chic Opening of The Sartorial men’s boutique in the Design District.

National Philanthropy Day Celebration
In a glorious garden setting overlooking Biscayne Bay, Bunny Bastian, 2009 Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year, hosted the 2014 National Philanthropy Day honorees: Sonja Zuckerman, Lifetime Achievement; The Miami Foundation, Outstanding Grantmaker, represented by Julie Bindbeutal and Rebecca Mandelbaum; Macy’s, Julia Tuttle Outstanding Corporate Citizen, represented by Exec. VP and Regional Director of SE, Darlene Hines.
Chaired by Sallie Byrd, Melanie Cohen, and Ilene Zweig, the celebration was part of the Association of Fundraising Professionals National Philanthropy Day festivities. Guests were feted with hors d’oeuvres created by A Joy Wallace Catering and wines donated by YaYa Wines.

SARTORIAL Grand Opening
The Design District’s new luxuriously appointed menswear boutique, SARTORIAL, celebrated its grand opening with an evening of Italian style and craftsmanship. Professional polo player Nic Roldan, along with Hernan Arriaga, Manny Machado, Ben Wolkov and Joseph Furst hosted the event alongside co-owners and sister duo Tamara & Julia Medvedeva.
