Celebrate Father’s Day with an afternoon Bay Cruise departing from the Deering Estate at Cutler! Discover South Florida’s nature and history aboard the “Pelican Island Skipper,” a 45-foot pontoon boat. A Deering staff member will be on board to talk about local birds and sea mammals, Native Americans and early pioneers as the boat passes Chicken Key, a 7-acre mangrove island and restored bird rookery. The cruise costs $35 per person, and participants are requested to arrive a half hour prior to departure.
