Style Saves

Second annual Swim Week fundraiser at Soho Beach House

Trina Turk runway show at 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

On Thursday, July 19th from 9 p.m. to midnight, Style Saves will host an exclusive event on the opening night of Swim Week.

More than 400 of Miami’s people will gather to support Style Save’s mission to “build confidence through clothes and give a fresh start through fashion.”

Style Saves was founded by stylist Rachael Russell who is excited to bump the event up a notch following last year’s success. “I wanted to do something relevant to my industry while giving back, “she said. “This year we are adding an additional fashion show and doubling the capacity. With a runway over the Soho Beach House pool, similar to what Saks Bal Harbour did with Rag & Bone but facing the opposite direction, there is going to be a big wow factor.”

The event will feature four designer fashion shows, sponsored open bar and live DJ. The runway show will showcase looks from Trina Turk, Atrium, Papi swimwear for men and iShine365 swimwear for women.

Following the show, the party will continue with Grey Goose cocktails, Moët Chandon, Peroni and Vita Coco, and treats from Stella’s Sweet Shoppe.

Style Saves, in collaboration with the Miami Foundation, works with local retail stores, boutiques, and designers to raise funds in order to provide underprivileged children in South Florida brand new clothing for back-to-school. The mission is to imbue students with the self-confidence and assurance they need to succeed, both academically and personally.

Tickets are $100 in advance and $125 at the door. To purchase tickets, visit: http://stylesaves.charityhappenings.org. To learn more about Style Saves visit, www.stylesaves.org.
