Fashion Faves Late Night at Wall and Wet
Swim Week – it’s on! There are those events and venues that most civilians can’t get into: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, the Swimwear Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Salon Allure, Star Lounge, the Brazil Fashion Show at the Webster, Trina Turk at the Soho Beach House and plenty more. Here are some fabulous events that are open to those who come armed with merely a passion for fashion and a love for swimwear. Check ‘em out and see you there!
Sand Play Fashion
Luxury lifestyle group Nikki Beach proudly presents S.P.F. – Sand Play Fashion – a series of beachfront fashion events during the 2011 Miami Beach Swim Week. Amid the sultry sandy ambiance, several top designers will present their stunning and sexy swimwear.
Nikki Beach Miami’s signature monthly fashion event, What Women Want, will take place on Saturday, July 16 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. Guests will enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with complimentary beauty services, scrumptious sweets, a welcome cocktail for those on the RSVP list and Nikki Beach Palate Pleasers, a specially designed menu for the day. The fashion shows, beginning at 3:30, will showcase Camelo Pardus swimwear for women and Fashion by Azucar swimwear for men.

Nothing screams Miami more than sunglasses and you can be sure that they will be out in full force for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim and all of the shows that surround it. One brand in particular will certainly be making splash.
Tortoise and Blonde will have a pop up store at the Shore Club on July 16 to introduce their luxury and vintage inspired eyewear to the Swim Week crowd.

No matter where you spend the early part of your evening, the later part of the night is where the Miami Beach fun can really take effect. In the spirit of Fashion Week Swim and the madness that surrounds it, SocialMiami will be filming its latest webisode series: Nightlife Chic.
Produced in conjunction with The Capponi Group and hosted by Miami social and fashion maven Sarah Arison, Nightlife Chic will profile the styles of Miami’s hottest scenesters Thursday night at Wall at W South Beach.

mySpa at the InterContinental Miami celebrates the arrival of the über sexy Colombian swimwear line – Maaji – to its boutique. Maaji swimwear was one of the brands chosen for the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, worn by fashion model Hilary Rhoda and body painted on French model Kenza Fourati.
