Italian Ambassador Announces New Miami Trade Office

More than 200 leaders in South Florida’s business, civic, governmental and cultural communities greeted Italian Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero in his first official visit to Florida, as he announced the upcoming opening of a new trade office and other recent initiatives.

Swire Properties sponsored the reception at the Mandarin Oriental and Shutts & Bowen organized it under the patronage of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) and the Italian Consulate in Miami during the 2013 Year of Italian Culture in the United States.

3rd Annual Cars, Cocktails, Cuisine

Amid the background of classic cars from nearly every decade, more than 150 community and business leaders recently took a tour down memory lane at the 3rd Annual Cars, Cocktails, Cuisine presented by the Law Offices of Jason Turchin.

Held at the exclusive Dauer Museum of Classic Cars, the event was hosted by Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation Diamond Society members Kira and Jason Turchin.

Proceeds benefited Betty Cares at Miami Children’s Hospital, which was founded by the Turchins in 2010 in memory of Kira’s mother to support children and caregivers at Miami Children’s Hospital.

2nd Annual “Claws for Kids” Brunch

Over 320 attendees gathered at the famous Joe’s Stone Crab for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s 2nd Annual “Claws for Kids” brunch, raising $50,000 (net) for the organization’s state-of-the-art South Beach Club slated to open this year. A last call before stone crab season ends, the brunch was a wonderful opportunity for attendees to enjoy delicious stone crabs and other signature Joe’s cuisine without the wait.
