TEDx Conference Explores the Meaning of Dreams

Set for Friday, February 5, at Ransom Everglades School

Consider the meaning of “dreams” through presentations of ten talented speakers at the upcoming 4th TEDx Conference hosted by TEDxCoconutGrove. Exploring the dream theme through a variety of interpretations, speakers will include Miami Theater Center’s founder Stephanie Ansin, YouTube sensation and motivational coach Dre Baldwin, CEO and founder of Lonesome George & Co Eudardo Balarezo, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sherman Fairchild Professor in Neuroscience Matt Wilson.

This year’s talks will be complemented with performances by spoken-word quartet Combat Hippies, pianist Eric Lewis, and Latin combo Tiempo Libre. The evening will conclude with a Tasting Village with signature offerings from the area’s top restaurants like LoKal, Akashi, Harry’s Pizzeria, Bulla Gastrobar, Chef David Schwadron and Misha’s Cupcakes, to name a few.
