The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami’s annual special event, The 365 Party, is back! Support the museum’s mission of providing free and open access to contemporary art and mark the official countdown towards the opening of ICA Miami’s new permanent home with an evening of celebration and performance. This year’s event honors Alberto Ibargüen, President of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and Ray Ellen & Allan Yarkin, members of ICA Miami’s Founders Circle, for their ongoing contributions to Miami’s arts communities.

For 2016, The 365 Party features a special performance by Michael Clark Company! Hailed as “British dance’s true iconoclast,” renowned choreographer Michael Clark will make his Miami debut, showcasing new works that feature his signature mix of technical rigor and experimentation. Since emerging in the 1980s as a prodigy at London’s Royal Ballet School, Michael Clark has remained at the forefront of innovation in dance, collaborating with such compelling artists as Sarah Lucas, Leigh Bowery, Peter Doig, and Charles Atlas – among many others – winning rave reviews and countless awards. Michael Clark and his distinctive choreography combine interpretations of ballet, punk, Dada, pop, and rock forms.
