Hundreds of women slipped into their stilettos to be a part of the 8th Annual Wine, Women & Shoes (WW&S) benefiting the children and families at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The event took place at the Moore Building in the Miami Design District and was emceed by CBS4’s News in the Morning co-anchor and Emmy nominated multimedia journalist, Lauren Pastrana.

This year’s celebration, led by co-chairs Christina Getty, Asha Elias and Nicole Sayfie Porcelli, included an array of wine tasting options, luxurious silent auction items and an extensive selection of vendors at our fashion marketplace.

Since the first Wine, Women & Shoes in 2012, these ladies have raised $1.2 million in funds to support the areas of greatest needs at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

“At our hospital, innovation permeates everything that we do, and with the support received at this year’s Wine, Women & Shoes, we can continue to drive discovery, advance the boundaries of medical knowledge and revolutionize the way care is accessed, delivered and experienced,” said Michelle Boggs, president of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Included among the sponsors that helped to make a difference were presenting sponsors Nicole Sayfie Porcelli and Marcello Porcelli, and Faena Rose, Missy and Jonathan Babicka, Aon Foundation, Bank United, Mercedes Benz of Coral Gables, Akerman LLP, Shear Construction, Resnick & Louis, LegendSpirits, Nicole Lozano, Invite Only, Provocativo, Neiman Marcus, Bodega Catena Zapata, Mundo Vino and Miami Design District.
