Located downtown, the club is easily approached from all major traffic arteries, and the in-building parking allows convenient and fast access.
With a name like The Bankers Club, one might envision a staid, corporate environment. On the contrary, the elegant, comfortable and sophisticated venue offers amazing panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, The Port of Miami and Fisher Island. It has the traditional ambiance of a manor home with rich colors and textures, plush carpets, gleaming mahogany paneling, fine art and antiques, all accented by brass and French-cut crystal chandeliers. For its members, The Bankers Club is a gracious setting to entertain guests, and now that opportunity is open to non-members as well.
Located on the 14th floor of One Biscayne Tower, the private club opened in 1972 when clubs set the tone for power meetings and fine dining. Those were the days before instant messaging, emailing, texting and tweeting – when executives did business over three-martini lunches.
30-some years later, and The Bankers Club is one of only two remaining downtown private clubs. It’s still a prominent spot to meet, and its members regularly enjoy networking events with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, interesting seminars, specialty dinners and wine tastings and free continental breakfasts. The club opened its doors this summer, offering special dining opportunities to allow nonmembers to experience the private and welcoming atmosphere.
Belonging to The Bankers Club offers reciprocal memberships at over 250 of the most prestigious business clubs, country clubs and resorts in the world. On any given weekday you’ll find members and their guests enjoying the camaraderie while savoring the special daily luncheon buffet. Evenings and weekends sometimes feature gala events with 250 guests dining and dancing the night away; or lavish themed birthday dinners for 50. No matter the size of the event, from the planning stages until the last guest departs, every detail is handled professionally and competently. It’s worry-free entertaining at its best.
