The Miami Design District hosts 6th Annual Fashion Strikes Cancer Fundraiser

The Miami Symphony Orchestra will lead guests into musical journey of classical masterpieces and contemporary twists.

The Miami Design District is on Friday October 22 hosting the 6th Annual Fashion Strikes Cancer Fundraiser, an event founded by Miami fashion visionary, stylist and breast cancer survivor Angeles Almuna and this year honoring executive leadership and life coach – as well as cancer survivor – Gisela Lowenstein. The splashiest of events held in the Design District throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be on the  rooftop of the Museum Garage, which will be drenched in a sea of color and music for the Hope, Faith and Love Concert.

Resident DJ at ZZ’s Club DJ Paper will be opening the party in the Lounge with a rosé and champagne bar accompanied by light bites.

Award winning fine arts photographer Giano Currie will design a bespoke light design photography set to host a complementary photoshoot for our guests.

Maestro Eduardo Marturet and the Miami Symphony Orchestra will then lead guests into musical journey of classical masterpieces and contemporary twists as musical nods to the cultural milieu. All as champagne flows and survival stories are celebrated.
