Neiman Marcus Hosts Miami Children's Museum

Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour and SocialMiami, will host THE TREND EVENT on Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30pm along with the Miami Children’s Museum and special hostess committee Marianne Devine, Shari Lombardi, Jackie Malamed, Melissa Netkin, Susan Lampen, Kelly Ruane Melchiondo, Mijanou Spurdle and CEO/Executive Director Deborah Spiegelman. Guests are invited to spice things up with all the new trends for the spring season as we fete the Museum’s upcoming 2015 be a kid again gala “007 you only live twice.” A runway fashion presentation of the latest must-haves including the new bohemian, fringe, spice market colors, summer suedes, and much more will be highlight the evening, as guests enjoy sips by SIA Blended Scotch Whisky and William Wolf Pecan Bourbon.

Jackie Malamed

Jackie Malamed is this year’s gala co-chair. She became involved in the museum about eight years ago when her children were involved in the Early Childhood Institute and she has stayed involved.

Originally from New York, Jackie tends to stick with classic and simple for her fashion choices.

Melissa Netkin

Melissa Netkin has been involved with MCM for many years and is serving as this year’s gala auction chair. Melissa understands the importance of both the live and silent auction items and the impact they have on the overall fundraising effort, especially for the museum’s educational programs.

Marianne Devine

Marianne Devine has been on the board of MCM for more than 15 years and currently serves on the executive board.
