The Two Character Play At Miami Theater Center
Tennessee Williams’ award-winning Broadway play, The Two-Character Play, opened at Miami Theater Center with a post-performance reception where opening night guests got the chance to meet the show’s cast and creative team. Directed by Miami native and MTC Artistic Director Stephanie Ansin (pictured with Spencer Stewart), MTC’s production of The Two-Character Play tells the story of brother and sister actors, who abandoned by their theater troupe, are forced to wrestle personal demons and professional challenges as sanity slips through their fingers. Faced with an audience expecting a performance, the siblings cling to their art, hoping it will shield them from total destruction.
