This is it!
Manny Hernandez is known as one of Miami’s top social photographers with an all access pass to events that feature the biggest names in entertainment, art, philanthropy and society. “This is it!” is Manny’s take on the ’90s. The exhibition is at the Palms Hotel on Miami Beach through December 6th with proceeds from the sales of his portraits going to the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI), an organization dedicated to finding a cure to diabetes. DRI has a special importance to Manny. His brother, Michael Cafaro, recently passed away from the disease and the exhibition is in his memory. See Manny speak about his retrospective in a SocialMiami Internet video exclusive.

Miami’s Carole Kotkin, food writer for the Miami Herald and culinary instructor at Ocean Reef, loves to travel and loves to eat. On this adventure, Carole was in the South of France in the Languedoc Provence. As always, Carole relished in the nuances of the region, enveloping herself in the surroundings and giving way to the local delicacies and customs. Read about Carole’s adventure from the perspective of a foodie and perhaps you’ll follow her lead to Cassoulet, the other south of France.
