About Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.

Legal Services of Greater Miami’s mission is to provide free civil legal services to low income residents of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. We are passionately committed to Equal Justice. Through aggressive advocacy and innovative collaboration with our community partners, we strive to empower our clients and alleviate the hardships of poverty.

Our advocacy is driven by:

  • Compassion for clients and community
  • Commitment to integrity and excellence
  • Interactive communication and outreach
  • Creative collaboration to meet client needs; and
  • Our unique diversity

In providing legal advocacy and education on a daily basis, Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. strives to improve the quality of life for the neediest members of our community, who otherwise would have nowhere to turn. With mortgage foreclosure rates and unemployment at an historic high, free legal services are needed now more than ever before. The poorest families and individuals in our community are losing jobs, housing, and access to healthcare. They are joined by former middle class families who find themselves suddenly unemployed and facing eviction or foreclosure.
In response to this crisis, the “Together, We Must” Campaign for Justice was created by leaders of prestigious local and national law firms and businesses who are strong supporters of LSGMI and the critical services we provide. The Campaign goal of our efforts is to supplement our budget to make sure low income individuals and families have someone on their side to speak for them and protect their rights.

Please join us and help to make a difference!
