The 4th Annual Splendor in the Garden luncheon and fashion show fundraiser benefits Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden’s education, conservation science, and horticulture programs.
Co-hosted with Neiman Marcus Coral Gables, the event featured a fabulous spring fashion show put together by Neiman Marcus’ Ken Downing, who was in attendance. Stylist Elysze Held spoke to Downing and we got commentary from some of the key patrons who were in attendance.

Bakehouse Art Complex Reunion Exhibition
On Friday, February 13, 2015, The Bakehouse Art Complex will honor its roots as a pioneering visual arts start-up in Wynwood and welcome the community to celebrate the opening of its landmark “Reunion” exhibition. This exhibition pays tribute to the artistic vision that created one of Miami’s oldest and most venerated cultural hubs twenty-nine years ago and the subsequent work that this vision made possible.
Opening its doors in 1987 in the Art Deco American Bakeries Company building, the Bakehouse was founded in 1985 by a group of artists who lost space in Coconut Grove and needed to relocate. These founding artists repurposed the industrial facility into working artist studios and galleries, ensuring a permanent venue for local artists to explore their creativity and hone their artistry.
Wine, Women and Shoes Kick-off Reception
The anticipated Wine, Women & Shoes Kick-off event benefiting Miami Children’s Health Foundation took place this past Saturday, Dec. 13. The glamorous event was hosted by renowned interior designer, Sofia Joelsson on the rooftop of her penthouse home in South Beach. Miami influencers and socialites alike gathered in excitement to celebrate the upcoming 4th Annual Wine, Women & Shoes presented by Sergio Rossi, which is scheduled for Feb. 4 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami.
The event served as a backdrop for co-chairs Carola Pimentel and Criselda Breene to announce Sergio Rossi as this year’s High Heel Presenting Sponsor. Funds raised will benefit the children and families at Miami Children’s Hospital through Together For The Children, The Campaign For Miami Children’s Hospital.
