Womenade Co-Chairs: Irene Korge, Migna Sanchez-Llorens and Bronwyn Miller

More than 540 guests joined Chapman Partnership at the 7th Annual “Take A Walk in Her Shoes” fashion show and luncheon held at the JW Marriott Marquis. The annual Womenade “Take a Walk in Her Shoes” vintage fashion show and luncheon is an opportunity to experience a step through fashion history with the most stylish looks and iconic designer brands of the past decades while honoring outstanding South Florida women. The event increases awareness and revenue for Chapman Partnership while helping to support the women and children residing at the centers.

Take a Walk in Her Shoes is a celebration of Miami’s top women philanthropists and community leaders. The vintage fashion show is produced by C. Madeleine’s, directed by Danny Santiago and hairstyling and make up by Rik Rak Salon. The event was emceed by CBS4 Lisa Petrillo. Each year, Chapman Partnership honors some of Miami’s top philanthropists at the luncheon. This year’s honorees included: Hilarie Bass, Betty Brandt, Criselda Breene, C.L. Conroy, Teresa Foxx, Christy Martin, Terri Shikany, Susannah Shubin and Teri Williams.

Chapman Partnership also named Lois Pope as the first recipient of the Trish Bell Lifetime Leadership Award for her commitment and contributions to our South Florida community. Just as Trish Bell has led with determination, courage, introspection and faith, Lois Pope demonstrates thoughtful, collaborative and passionate leadership in the pursuit of improving the quality of life and wellbeing of others.

“The dedication of our volunteers and board members is pivotal to our success,” said Daniel Vincent, President and CEO of Chapman Partnership. “We are extremely grateful to the community for continuing to support Chapman Partnership and the annual fashion show and luncheon. We are able to continue to provide services to our residents on a nightly basis because of the community’s ongoing investment and leadership.”

Currently, 44% percent of the residents at Chapman Partnership are families with children; more than 250 children and 120 women reside at the Centers. Families represent the fastest growing segment of the homeless population in our community.

The event could not have reached this level of success without the help of the Womenade chairs and event sponsors. The Honorary Chairs were Trish and Dan Bell and Betty Brandt; while the event chairs were Bronwyn Miller, Irene Korge, and Migna SanchezLlorens.
