WPBT2 hosted supporters for a breakfast with Ken Burns at the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Coconut Grove. Ken shared stories from his film-making career and the making of his newest film, “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea.” Filmed over the course of more than six years in some of nature’s most spectacular locales from the Everglades of Florida to the Gates of the Arctic in Alaska, the documentary is a story of America and Americans from every conceivable background set against breathtaking backdrops.
