WPBT2 Celebrates 60 Years of Making History

WPBT2, PBS celebrated its 60th anniversary with a trip down memory lane. Board members, supporters, sponsors, members and staff gathered in WPBT2’s North Miami Beach studios for a behind-the-scenes tour of the station’s operations, followed by champagne and anniversary cake. President & CEO Dolores Sukhdeo shared highlights of WPBT2’s history and offered a glimpse of what is in store for the station; and WPBT2 VPs Max Duke and Armando Rodriguez also spoke about exciting local programming and thanked everyone present for making WPBT2’s mission of providing commercial free broadcasting for all ages and all audiences a reality.
