YoungArts Miami 2015

The National YoungArts Foundation’s 2015 YoungArts Miami program offered approximately 100 aspiring artists – all of whom are 2015 YoungArts Winners – life-changing experiences. During YoungArts Miami, these emerging artists participated in interdisciplinary workshops and intensive master classes with renowned masters in their field, including YoungArts alumni Zuzanna Szadkowski (Theater), and Philip Neal (Dance); and Master Teachers Kristy Edmunds (Visual Arts); Shelly Berg (Music), Mitch Kaplan (Writing) and Ron McCurdy (Jazz).
YoungArts Miami participants connected with more than 1,200 South Florida audience members through a photography, design and visual arts exhibition, a jazz performance, and writers’ readings and film screenings on the YoungArts Campus; a multidisciplinary theater, voice, music and dance performance at The Colony Theatre directed by YoungArts Alumnus Michael McElroy; and a multidisciplinary theater, voice, music and dance matinee performance directed by John Higenbotham on at The Colony Theatre.
