On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will host its annual black-tie “Wild About Kids Gala,” with the exciting theme “A Night in Havana,” at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. Proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s many positive programs, including after school programs, homework assistance, computer training, social skills, dance, arts & crafts, professional mentoring, and summer and athletic programs, for area children who need them the most.

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed at 8 p.m. by dinner, the program, dancing and live entertainment. South Florida’s top community leaders, philanthropists and socialites will be among the guests, who will enjoy a themed-evening full of surprises such as a classic car on display, luxurious and unique auction items, a large raffle giveaway of a 3-wheel motorcycle, and much more. Guests will also have a special opportunity at the event to sponsor a child through donations.

Norwegian Cruise Line will provide entertainment from its onboard production “Havana,” along with music by Albita Rodriguez.

“Wild About Kids” Gala chairs are Andrew Stuart, member of Boys & Girls of Miami-Dade’s Executive Board, and president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, and his wife Allison Stuart. Olga Guilarte, member of Boys & Girls of Miami-Dade’s Executive Committee, is the special event chair.
