Over 400 guests attended the beautiful event, a production of A Touch of Class Event Productions and hosted by Master of Ceremony, Myriam Masihy, ten-time Emmy Award winning investigative reporter for Telemundo 51 and NBC 6 South Florida.

The evening theme “Imagine” moved the hearts of all attendees as the audience heard the heartwarming story of Ashley who lived at His House Children’s Home for four years until she was placed with a loving foster family. Today, Ashley is in her first year of college and aspires to become a Case Manager someday so she too can impact the lives of children in the foster-care system.

The guests enjoyed a magnificent “Silent” and “Live Auction,” musical performance by Ella Sainte, dance performances by In-Motion Performing Art Center and very special surprises by the Surprise Factor. The guests danced the night away to music by Juniors Entertainment.

“We are thrilled that so many friends joined us at this year’s Imagine Gala and generously supported the organization. Children in foster-care need a safe and loving place they can call home. Over the past 27 years, His House has restored the lives of more than 14,000 children. Today over 200 children call His House their home, Imagine how many more lives we can restore with the generous support of our friends” said Silvia Smith Torres, Executive Director of His House Children’s Home.

The evening raised much-needed funds to provide loving care and homes to the children at His House. This would not have been possible without the faithful support of Sponsors; Royal Caribbean International, Discovery Communications, Bacardi, Edgewater Construction, PNC Bank, SeaLand, Goldstein Schechter Koch, Public Transportation Specialist, Ojala Wine and Advanced Contractors of Florida.
