The 12th Annual Gala for the American Nicaraguan Foundation (ANF), benefitting the fight against poverty in the neediest sectors of Nicaragua, will be held at the InterContinental Hotel Miami on October 20.

The annual event, always on the top of Miami’s social calendar, will feature the theme “Building a Better Future”, and will celebrate ANF’s 20th Anniversary, promising to be an unforgettable evening. The charity benefit, hosted by Theresa C. Pellas and Gabriela Terán, will kick off with a red carpet, a cocktail hour, luxury silent auction, live band & entertainment, followed by a 5 star, 3-course meal. At the end of the evening, a limited edition VIRTUS I timepiece by Girard Perregaux will be raffled off to one lucky winner and the renowned “After-Party” will have guests dancing until the early morning.

The 2011 Gala raised upwards of half a million dollars. This is ANF’s largest fundraising event of the year providing much needed funding for programs for clean water, healthcare, building homes, and education to the children of the greatest poverty stricken areas of Nicaragua.

Dancing the night away!

The ANF is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established in 1992 whose vision is to foster increased opportunity, self-sufficiency and dignity for the poor in Nicaragua.
