Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida held its 31st Annual 12 Good Men Luncheon in the heart of Coral Gables at the Loews Hotel. More than 380 guests came together to recognize this year’s honorees. Proceeds from the event help fund operations at RMHC South Florida, which provides a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children receiving medical treatment at pediatric facilities across South Florida. The luncheon, steeped in tradition, celebrates remarkable individuals renowned for their exceptional philanthropic involvement, civic service, and support of one or more prominent South Florida  charitable organizations.

This year’s luncheon featured a cameo from Ronald McDonald himself, along with the return of Master of Ceremonies, Calvin Hughes, a six-time Emmy Award-winning WPLG newscaster and a member of the 12 Good Men Class of 2016. Many 12 Good Men alumni were in attendance to cheer on the Class of 2024 as they strutted down the runway to their favorite songs. Some opted for choreographed dances as guests held up “fan faces” to show their support. Children currently staying at RMHC South Florida presented flowers to the honorees as they made their way to the end of the iconic runway, a tradition beloved by guests each year.
