The Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross honored Trish and Dan Bell with the Spectrum Humanitarian Award at the 38th American Red Cross Ball: A Passion for Red at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel. For more than 40 years, Trish and Dan Bell have been actively committed to enhancing the South Florida community through their leadership, service and their generous philanthropy.
Ball Chairs Leah and Phillip Sylvester, together with Honorary Ball Chairs, Marile and Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq., celebrated the lifesaving services provided by the Red Cross in South Florida. Almost 300 guests were in attendance sporting their finest red attire. Through the generosity of attendees, the evening raised over $660,000 to benefit American Red Cross preparedness, response and recovery programs and services.
“This event raises critical funds for services in the community – from disaster relief after a hurricane or home fire to emergency communications assisting military members serving abroad,” said Deborah Koch, executive director of the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter. “It is an incredible honor to recognize Trish and Dan Bell for their extraordinary contributions to the Red Cross and the larger community; they inspire us all with their generosity and spirit of giving.”
The fabulous fête was followed by Party in Red, the official afterparty of the Red Cross Ball, where Miami’s young professionals gathered to continue the celebration at one of South Florida’s most prestigious social fundraising events.
Party In Red was chaired by Carolyn E. Hicks, JD Trammell & Eric Milton.
