TCL and Ambassadors Luncheon
The Cancer Lifeline (TCL) of Mount Sinai and the Ambassadors of the Wien Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders began the new year by hosting the 2009 Tender Care and Love luncheon in honor of Marion Golden, whose husband Dr. Donald L. Golden recently made a generous multimillion dollar gift to the medical center. The event, which took place in Jungle Island’s Treetop Ballroom, featured a presentation by style icon Carson Kressley, host of Lifetime’s “How to Look Good Naked,” and formerly of Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” Part of Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation, TCL and the Ambassadors generate philanthropic support to benefit research and treatment programs and the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment at Mount Sinai.
