Christine Y. Kim is has been Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at LACMA since 2009 and organized several exhibitions and projects, including Teresa Margolles, an outdoor sculpture project in collaboration with the Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND) a non-profit organization for public art which she co-founded in 2009. Other projects include Art Public 2011 and Art Public 2012 in MiamiBeach, for Art Basel Miami Beach.
Prior to her post at LACMA, Kim was Associate Curator at The Studio Museum in Harlem in New York, where worked from 2000 to 2008, where she organized numerous solo and group exhibitions such as Flow (2008), Meschac Gaba: Tresses (2005), and Black Belt (2003), Frequency (2005) and Freestyle (2001).
Michael Spring serves as director of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, where he is responsible for supervision of a public arts agency with an annual budget of more than $30 million and a staff of 51. He represents the Department on numerous cultural and civic organizations including service as Secretary of the board of directors of Americans for the Arts, a founding board member and officer of Americans for the Arts Action Fund, member and past President of the United States Urban Arts Federation, chairman of the board of the Florida Cultural Alliance, chairman of the 5-county regional arts alliance, the South Florida Cultural Consortium, director of the Miami-Dade County Tourist Development Council and member of the board of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
