Sissy DeMaria-Koehne is the CEO of Cultivate — a fully integrated public relations agency with offices in Miami, New York and LA — and she’s co-chairing the annual gala for Coral Gables Community Foundation this Saturday, as she has for seven consecutive years. This year’s theme is A Gables Odyssey and guests will don togas and attire reminiscent of their favorite Greek Gods and Goddesses.

With more than thirty years of experience in the ultra-luxury arena, DeMaria-Koehne is recognized for her vast network of connections, expertise in media relations and crisis communications serving clients in the residential and commercial real estate, hospitality, and arts and culture industries. She is an advisory board of Gallop NYC and is the Founder of WorldWise PR Affiliates, a global network of independently owned public relations agencies in key locations throughout the world.

DeMaria-Koehne is the recipient of numerous industry and civic awards, including PR News’ “Top Women in PR,” South Florida Business Journal’s “Influential Business Women,” South Florida Luxury Guide’s “Women of Style and Substance,” and Ocean Drive’s “Women of Influence.” Most recently, she was named to Manhattan Modern Luxury’s prestigious “The List”. In 2018, Kreps DeMaria was named one of the “Most Powerful Real Estate PR Firms” in New York City by the Observer.

She is married to Dr. Guenther Koehne. Sissy is a mother of three daughters, Stephanie, Dana and Michele and five grandchildren. The Koehne’s divide their time between New York City, Vero Beach and Miami. She is a graduate of the University of Miami.
