The Coral Gables Community Foundation’s 15th annual Tour of Kitchens & Tropical Living was a huge hit, as over 900 guests enjoyed delicious sips and bites in gorgeous homes all over the City Beautiful. The Community Foundation had generous sponsors, vendors, restaurants and guests – their donations of talent, time and treasure make this unforgettable event better each year. Tour proceeds benefit the Coral Gables Senior High Culinary Program and other scholarships.

Originally from Coral Gables, Amy Brody Poliakoff studied Communications and Art History at the University of Miami. For over five years working in the arts in NYC, Amy worked for some of the most prestigious galleries including David Zwirner, Paul Kasmin, Leila Heller, and Bernaducci.Meisel. She also gained exposure to the arts community through her starring role on Bravo TV’s television series, Gallery Girls. After returning to Miami, Amy became sales director of Oliver Cole Gallery and pursued a master’s in journalism – once again at the University of Miami. She currently focuses her time on writing for a vast assortment of publications where she writes on topics from the arts to travel, business, fintech, lifestyle and profile pieces. She has written magazine cover and feature stories on notable subjects such as famed tennis player John Isner, political news commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle, the Milken Institute, celebrity chef Franklin Becker, and Jackie Segal, the Queen of Versailles. Philanthropy is a continued passion for Amy as she is an active member of the Beaux Arts charity which helps bring art education and appreciation to the South Florida community. She also enjoys giving her time to the American Red Cross and is an executive with the Women’s Cancer Research Foundation.
