D & G Winter 2012 from Milan
The urban D&G Women’s Winter 2012 Collection plays with the alphabet for its graphic silhouettes. Masculine volumes for coats and sleek, elongated volumes for the pencil skirts that hit just below the knee. The oversized silk t-shirts or slim-fitting tees are worn with fleece miniskirts, coated in feathers. An array of colourful fabrics – jacquards, printed wools, chiffon and Habotai silk, stretch cotton jersey, even fur and feathers – made their way down the runway. The collection is set off with high heeled sneakers, small clutches, patterned scarves and big toy-like bijoux with letters used as charms.
