Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida Honors 12 Good Men
South Florida’s elite came together at Jungle Island for the 22nd Annual Twelve Good Men Luncheon, which was attended by more than 300 guests. One of Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of South Florida’s premier fundraisers, the event honored South Florida’s leading men for their unwavering dedication to the community, civic service and support of local charities.
This year’s honorees were Aleksander Alembert, president and CEO of Alembert Global Enterprise; Marty Davis, CEO of Legal Solutions; Robert J. Gordon, senior financial advisor of Investor Solutions; Miguel Inda-Romero, Esq., of Inda-Romero Law Firm, LLC; David Martin, president and founder of Terra Group; Alfredo Mesa, vice president and executive director of the Marlins Foundation; James Murphy, president & owner of James Murphy Interiors; Jay Pelham, executive vice president and managing director of private banking at Gibraltar Private Bank and Trust; Fernando Perez Hickman, chairman of the board at Banco Sabadell; Roy Ripak, market vice president of Walgreens Co.; Eugenio Sevilla-Sacasa, vice president of international supply chain solutions at Ryder; and Joge Villacampa, Wells Fargo area president for the Miami-Dade Monroe Division.
“We are very pleased with the success of this year’s event,” commented Soraya-Rivera Moya, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House. “We are delighted to pay tribute to these men who have worked hard for the betterment of our community and who share our passion for helping those who are less fortunate.”
The event proudly raised more than $60,000 this year; proceeds will support both the Miami and Fort Lauderdale Ronald McDonald Houses, which provide a “home away from home” for families with ill children receiving treatment at South Florida’s pediatric medical facilities.
