Antonio Moreno “Polito” in “LUCHA”
Centro Cultural Español and Miami-Dade County Auditorium present the art and magic of flamenco on stage.
The multifaceted flamenco dancer Antonio Moreno Fernández “Polito” presents his new show “LUCHA”, a journey and a tour of his intense professional career that goes from 1991 to the present. His unique performance of exquisite elegance and avant-garde reveals his energy and virtuosity on stage.
Polito is part of one of the most important families of flamenco artists in Spain, he is cousin of Farruquito. Polito has danced with the most renowned flamenco companies and artists. He was part of the company of Joaquin Cortes, Manuela Carrasco, Antonio Canales and Tomatito. He has also had the fortune to be dancer to Beyoncé, Madonna, and Marc Anthony, as well as Antonio Carmona and Estrella Morente. Lately he has been the opening act of the singer Rosalía.
The Miami-Dade County Auditorium is managed by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, with funding support from the Office of the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and Board of County Commissioners. The Auditorium is dedicated to presenting and supporting arts and culture and providing access to the arts to the entire community.
