Baptist Children’s Hospital – Once Upon A Time …At Metrozoo
Guests arrived to waiting trams shuttling families through the fauna and flora of tropical America to the “Once Upon a Time…at MetroZoo,” family hoedown. Clad in western attire, 300 guests raised funds to benefit the Cancer Fund for Children at Baptist Children’s Hospital. The Presenting sponsor for the evening was Radiology Associates of South Florida. Supporting sponsors included Kidz Medical, SunTrust, Bank of America, Panera Bread and Dr. Jonathan and Alyse Messinger.
The Cancer Fund for Children at Baptist Children’s Hospital is dedicated to improving the quality of life of our pediatric cancer patients and their families by providing them with a consistent source of financial, emotional and spiritual support. It will provide psychological counseling, housing support for families with financial limitations, clinical equipment upgrades and other programmatic support, as well as ongoing staff education to meet the needs of cancer patients.
