Belen Jesuit Unveils Hill & Tunnel
Over 150 people attended The Nike Hill Blessing & Dedication Ceremony at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. On display were the seven state championship trophies won since 1995. Members from current and past cross-country teams attended the ceremony. After 3-years of planning, raising funds, construction and a lot of hard work I’m very proud to see this project nearly complete, said Carlos Barquin, athletic director. With the addition of the Hill & Tunnel, the length of the cross-country course extends to 1.7 miles. This added feature is also unique to Belen Jesuit; it is the only dedicated cross-country course in South Florida and the only course with a Hill & Tunnel.
