Circle Of Champions
Hall inducted Andrew Holtz, 11, into the Circle of Champions for excelling as an athlete with diabetes. The Olympus Award was then presented to Michele Pommier for going the extra mile to contribute to the community.
The Halls extended special thanks to the committee which included: Marlene and Stuart Blumberg, Samantha and Joshua Bratter, Bebe Hall, Mary and Gary Hall, Sr., Jill and Robert Hertzberg, Andria and Javier Holtz, Cathleen and Emilio Lamar, Bianca Oakes, Adrienne and Steve Pardo, Michele Pommier, Carmen Casadella and Zasha Robles, Steve Sawitz, Brian Johnson, Barbara Swan, and Jeannie and Gus Vidaurreta.
Proceeds benefited the newly established Gary Hall Jr. Foundation for Diabetes. The focus of the organization is two-fold: to provide testing equipment for underprivileged families affected by diabetes, and to find a cure by supporting organizations such as the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, of which Hall is a regional board member.
