Cloister Foundation’s First Legacy Gala
Guests at the Cloisters Foundation’s first Legacy Gala were met with the soothing sounds of live jazz filling the air in the torch-lit gardens of the Ancient Spanish Monastery. Neki Mohan of WPLG Channel 10 was the evening’s host and introduced Cloisters Foundation President Dr. Janie Greenleaf. Gala Chair Suzanne Ferguson presented each of the 2011 honorees with a handmade award from Spain. Honored were North Miami Beach Mayor Myron Rosner; Michael J. Snyder, President of the NMB Chamber of Commerce; Tony Lesesne, Co-founder of Lesesne Media Group; and Dr. Dorothy Jenkins-Fields, Founder of the Black Archives History & Research Foundation.
