Design District Gallery Walk
January 12th will be the first Art + Design Night Gallery Walk of the year in the Miami Design District. Each month an eclectic mix of galleries and design showrooms open their doors from 7 – 10 PM to art and design lovers. This free monthly event is perfect for getting out for amoonlight stroll in the charming Design District neighborhood to experience cutting edge culture. This month highlights of the gallery walk will include an opening at Locust Projects of work by Los Angeles based artist Karl Haendel in the main gallery with Carlos Rigau showing in the project room; Adamar FineArts will present a collection of rarely seen works by Andy Warhol, while Primary Projects hosts the closing reception of Rebecca Raney’s Raneytown exhibition. You will come for the art, but stay for the chic atmosphere that can only be found in the Design District.
