Stacey Lauren Glassman (of the New World Symphony) and Joseph Ryan Mizener (owner of Studio M Miami) were married on June 1, 2011. They chose the charming and glamorous Raleigh Hotel for their special day. They were married at sunset on the balcony of the Penthouse, overlooking the ocean. The intimate ceremony was exclusive for their immediate family. Guests enjoyed classical music by a violinist and cellist, alumni from the New World Symphony. Joe walked down the aisle to After the Moonlight by Gabriel Pulido and Stacey walked down the aisle to a classical arrangement of Let it Be Me, by Ray LaMontagne. After the ceremony, the group enjoyed an elegant dinner inside the luxe Penthouse. Stacey and Joe danced to These Arms of Mine by Otis Redding.
The next day they flew to Tobago, West Indies, for an “Island Shake Down” with their closest friends and family at the Ohana Villa, a Balinese-inspired mansion atop a mountainside overlooking the ocean. The first night was a paddle-out ceremony on their surfboards, where they exchanged private vows and Hawain lais, followed by a luau with tiki torches and a performance by the Tobago Steel Drum Orchestra. The next night was their spiritual wedding at sunset under a gazebo overlooking the ocean. Jarred Wilen Thompson sang live as the wedding party strolled down to In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel and Marry Me by Train. Lindsay Glassman led the ceremony which consisted of poetry selections by Pablo Neruda and EE Cummings, Guests dined and danced and the evening quickly turned into a pool party.
Stacey and Joe then headed to Greece for their Honeymoon in the Greek Islands.
