Miami’s SOHO Studios was transformed into a winter wonderland when they opened their doors to Jackson Health Foundation’s annual Golden Angels Gala. With temperatures in the mid-fifties, the South Florida night provided the perfect back drop for the aptly themed gala, ‘Something Cool is Happening at Jackson’.

Jackson honored Matthew Whitman Lazenby and his wife Kristin, of the Whitman Family/Bal Harbour Shops – Grand Gala Sponsor, as they helped the Golden Angels host over 800 philanthropists, community leaders, and dignitaries.

WPLG Channel 10 Anchor Laurie Jennings, served as mistress of ceremonies. Guests dined and danced underneath a snow covered forest and were served their choice of beverages at Icicle and Iceberg Bars sponsored by Southern Wine and Spirits. Guests were also able receive their favorite beverages at the Black Ice Bar courtesy of Robins & Morton and at the Igloo Bar sponsored by the Whitman Family and the Bal Harbour Shops. The Gala’s Corporate Underwriter Ken Gorin of THE COLLECTION provided raffle patrons with their choice of either an Audi Q5 or an Audi A5 as the grand prize. We are proud to have the Miami Herald Media Company as the media sponsor of our signature event.
