Greater Miami Jewish Federation Pacesetter Event Draws More Than 375 Attendees

One of the largest Pacesetter Events in the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s history drew more than 375 Jewish community leaders to the Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel on Miami Beach on December 16, 2003. The event helped launch the 2004 Federation/UJA Campaign and was chaired by Elena and Oscar Feldenkreis, Nancy and Bobby Gilbert and Norma and Allan Wilson. The Pacesetter Event recognized and thanked major donors to the Annual Campaign, which provides a vital lifeline of services to people in Miami, in Israel and in 60 countries worldwide. Joshua Malina, from NBC’s Emmy-winning hit drama, The West Wing, was the keynote speaker. A passionate and vocal supporter of Israel, Malina spoke about his own experiences as a Jewish actor and his wish that other prominent Jews in Hollywood would voice their support for Israel’s right to exist.
