Guided Tour
SoBe Views Design District
Fashion, art and chic eateries work in conjunction with Miami interior design in one of the city’s most progressive neighborhoods, the Miami Design District. In an effort to promote the Design District’s evolving maturation, the Miami Design District Marketing Council in association with Design District Magazine, Dacra Properties and JetCard Plus hosted a private guided tour exclusively for residents of select South Beach luxury condominiums.
The concierges of the invited high-rises are part of the Continental Concierge Group, a division of The Continental Group, the largest management company in the country and the perfect target to convoke an affluent clientele with taste for all the good things that the District has to offer.
A limo-bus, courtesy of Aventura Limo, picked up neighbors from Il Villaggio, 1500 Ocean Drive, Continuum North & South, Murano Grande, Murano at Portofino and Icon, taking them over the MacArthur Causeway to the first stop: The Rug Company on NE 2nd Avenue and 40th Street.
Owners and representatives of the participating businesses – Poltrona Frau, Fendi Casa and Avant Gallery – greeted the two groups of residents and offered wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, while providing insight on their collections.
The last stop of the tour was at Brosia Restaurant where guests enjoyed complimentary signature cocktails. The tour concluded as participants were picked up by the limo-bus where they received gift bags with souvenirs and goods from the sponsoring companies.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for the businesses of the Design District, and we are looking forward to hosting more events like this with other residential communities,” said John White, publisher, Design District Magazine.
