Hollub Homes Presents: Opening Nights

Miami City Ballet opens with a classic

Frank & Gabrielle Armstrong, Sponsors of the Miami City Ballet Opening Night Reception

Kicking off its 29th season and marking the second season for artistic director Lourdes Lopez, Miami City Ballet launched its 2014-2015 season at the Adrienne Arsht Center (Ziff Ballet Opera House) with the grand, full-scale Romeo and Juliet. John Cranko’s classical ballet interpretation of Shakespeare’s famed play brought the timeless, tragic tale of impassioned love to life.

In celebration of the majesty of opening night, SocialMiami documented this grand occasion and spoke with Lopez and several key board members and sponsors including MCB founder Toby Ansin, board president Susan Kronick, past board president Mike Edison, and opening night reception sponsor Frank Armstrong.

A visual delight danced with an emotional intensity that is sure to stir the senses, Romeo and Juliet is not to be missed. Tickets start at just $20 and are on sale now. To purchase tickets or to learn more, visit miamicityballet.org or call the MCB Box Office at 305-929-7010 or Toll Free at 877-929-7010.
