Honey Shine Mentoring Program

The Honey Shine Mentoring Program held its first Lady Bug recruitment event for 2009 at Casa de Korge in Pinecrest. Tracy Wilson Mourning, founder of the Honey Shine Mentoring Program, was joined by friends Irene Korge, Norma Jean Abraham, Ada Armas, Bobbie Van der Vlught, and Kim Wood to host a cooking and mixology demonstration led by renowned Chef Douglas Rodriguez of Ola Restaurant. Rodriguez’ famed ceviche and paella were served, topped off with mojitos made with Kilo Kai spiced rum. Honey Shine works to empower young girls with the tools they need to shine as women.
