Dimond, Chairman, Jackson Memorial Foundation, and Fana Holtz, Sherie Swerdlow and Marisa Cisneros Rizzon, Chairmen, Jackson Memorial Foundation Gala 2007 welcomed 1,100 guests to the Winter Palace. The evening honored this year’s Golden Angels and recognized R. Kirk Landon, recipient of the Jay Weiss Humanitarian Award and Andreas G. Following cocktails and a silent auction, Barton G. wowed the guests with an exciting ice skating show. The live auction featured six fabulous items including a Porsche Cayenne S Titanium generously donated by Ken Gorin of THE COLLECTION, a mercy flight for a sick child to Holtz Children’s Hospital generously donated by Bombardier Flexjet, an Ebel watch donated by Mr. and Mrs. Gedalio Grinberg of Movado, Inc.; a Fendi Fur donated by Fana Holtz, beautiful diamond earrings, donated by Harry Winston and a spa package to Paraiso de la Bonita, in Cancun Mexico, donated by Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Goselin.
For the third consecutive year, the Golden Angels Gala raised over $1 million dollars to further transform Jackson Memorial Hospital into a world class health care provider. Proceeds from the event benefit the Transformation Campaign, Holtz Children’s Hospital, International Kids Fund, Taylor Breast Health Center, Ryder Trauma Center and other priority projects at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
