Joey’s Italian Café, the first new Wynwood restaurant in over a decade, opened with a splash at 2506 N.W. 2nd Avenue. City of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz joined owners Joey and Thea Goldman (pictured), to officiate at a ribbon cutting, with local gallery owners, friends and family joining in the festivities. Open for lunch Monday – Friday and dinner Monday – Saturday, Joey’s Italian Café is under the watchful eye of chef Ivo Mazzon.
