Love & Disability Awareness Hosted by Shalva at Frost Science Museum
Shalva, a non-profit dedicated to aiding those with disabilities of all ages, presented an exclusive screening of the 2015 Emmy-nominated film, “Autism In Love,” directed by Matt Fuller at the Frost Science Museum’s Planetarium. Founded by Kalman Samuels in Israel, Shalva provides care for those of all ages and backgrounds free of charge and is dedicated to scientific research of various disabilities. Following the screening, guests moved to The Deep, a space just beneath the aquarium and enjoyed sounds by DJ Irie, curated cocktails by Dominican rum brand Ron Barceló and gourmet kosher sushi, kebabs and desserts.
