Martina Navratilova & Nancy Lieberman Dedicated Sports Court to Kendall Boys & Girls Club
Longtime friends Basketball Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman and Tennis Hall-of-Famer Martina Navratilova were on hand for the dedication of the new Dream Court™ at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade Kendall Club. Lieberman, a two-time Olympian and NBA Sacramento Kings Assistant Coach, gifted the court to honor her friend, Grand Slam title holder Martina Navratilova for her great impact on the game of tennis and as an inspirational leader to women in sports. Dream Courts are top-quality, multipurpose play spaces built that provide children in underprivileged communities a safe area to play basketball, interact socially, and learn important lessons about teamwork and good sportsmanship. A youth shoot-around followed the dedication.
