Miami Children’s Museum (MCM), a non-profit museum located on Watson Island promises to fill your child’s heart with wonder and imagination, colors and enchantment, creative adventures and whimsical fairy tales… but what if we said that Miami Children’s Museum extends this same promise to you?
You’re invited to be a kid again! Let your dreams become a reality with the Miami Children’s Museum Facility Rental Program. This 56,500 square–foot facility can become your playground and the alternative venue for your next affair.
Miami-based Arquitectonica International designed this extraordinary facility with spectacular waterfront views overlooking downtown Miami. You and your guests can enjoy the bejeweled Castle of Dreams and play in 14 state of the art galleries, bursting with hundreds of interactive, bilingual exhibits including a 32 foot rock climbing wall and miniature Publix supermarket! The Museum is the perfect and most unique setting for your unique event.
The possibilities are as endless as your imagination! The Miami Children’s Museum Facility Rental Program offers:
Cocktail Receptions, Weddings and Black Tie Galas
Renting gallery spaces on both floors of the Museum accommodates up to 2,000 guests. In addition to the museum’s impressive promenade and galleries, the Paresky Family Auditorium is a 2,500 square-foot space that seats up to 200. This space has a stage, theatrical lighting, numerous audiovisual capabilities that include an on-site audio visual technician to assist you, a 10 foot drop down screen, an LCD projector, a complete sound system, microphones, podiums and much more!
Rooftop Film & Photoshoots
Need a beautiful tropical setting? Miami Children’s Museum is located on Watson Island facing the Port of Miami and Biscayne Bay with spectacular views of the downtown Miami skyline. Companies that have utilized the Museum’s prime location rooftop space include NBC 6, CNN, Neiman Marcus, and Bacardi. Other companies that have utilized our distinctive facility in the past have included IBM, Miami Children’s Hospital, Miami Heat, Next In Line, Kristi House and Dade Community Foundation to name a few.
Corporate Team-Building Seminars
What better way to boost team morale then by challenging one another to an exciting rock wall climb! Mt. MiChiMu, the Museum’s 32 foot rock climbing wall! You can even take home a souvenir picture!
Interactive Luncheons, Evening Lectures, Meetings & Conferences
The Paresky Family Auditorium is a great space for larger corporate meetings with capacities ranging from 100 conference style, 140 seated banquet, and 200 bleachers. Looking for a smaller space? The Museum has four colorful classrooms ranging from 522 to 1,260 square-feet. Classrooms feature internet access and a retractable wall for extra space. A portable screen and projector are also available for use in these classrooms.
Another option is the MCM Technology Center containing 20 multimedia computer stations with web access, Adobe image editing software, audio/visual editing with headphones, flatbed image scanner, and color and black & white laser printers.
