MOCA Mystery Dates Fundraiser

Hosted by MOCA Shakers

Join the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) for its third annual Mystery Dates fundraiser. On Saturday, October 25, some of Miami’s most inspired hosts will open their homes for intimate dinners featuring art, food and conversation. The “mystery” is which glamorous dinner guests will attend. Dinner locations will only be revealed during a cocktail reception at the museum’s satellite gallery, MOCA at Goldman Warehouse, on the night of the event. Mystery Dates is hosted by the Shakers, MOCA’s young international patrons group.

Mystery Dates begins at 6:00 pm with a sensational party at MOCA at Goldman Warehouse (404 NW 26th Street, Miami), where guests will enjoy cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose, music from DJ Jay Meletiche, and hors d’eouvres provided by the Boutique Kitchen. Upon arrival at the cocktail party, guests will be handed an envelope containing the location where they will enjoy dinner featuring wines from Bodega Otazu.

The ten different dinners will be hosted by collectors and design enthusiasts, including: Jim Baxter, Joe Berg, Anna Suarez Burgos & Jose Alonso, Mario Cader-Frech and Robert Wennett. Alberto Chehebar and Jocelyn Katz, Jeff Geldblum, Gloria and Sergio Leyva, Vivian and Ken Pfeiffer, Martin Rozenblum and Debi and Jeff Wechsler.

Guests will enjoy meeting and mingling with other movers and shakers who share an interest in the arts. This year, high-end fashion brands add a luxurious twist on the evening with peeks at their new lines and fabulous gift-bags.

This night doesn’t end with dinner — Mystery Dates guests will also enjoy an exciting After-Party with desserts at Sky Bar at The Shore Club on South Beach starting at 11 pm.

This event is ideal for couples and singles of all ages. It is a great opportunity to make new friends, experience fabulous art and design, and support the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Tickets are $150 for MOCA Shakers and above members; $200 for non-members. To purchase tickets, please call 305-893-6211, extension 37.

Mystery Dates is chaired by Rita Cabases and Ivonne Ronderos. Proceeds from the event will go toward MOCA’s exhibitions of emerging artists.

Mystery Dates is generously sponsored by Travel+Leisure magazine, Emporio Armani, Cole Haan, and Bodega Otazu, with additional support provided by HOME Miami and Jackie Abraham & Co.
