Sloane Spanierman Joins SocialMiami as Publisher

Media and sales executive Sloane Spanierman has joined SocialMiami as Publisher. In this capacity, Spanierman will oversee and service the site’s major advertising accounts.

“I’m excited to be working with the media outlet that best promotes philanthropy and culture in Miami,” says Spanierman. “SocialMiami hasn’t only been around for nearly two-decades, making it the longest running charity chronicle, but I’m glad to be on board as the company launches its new website and expands its coverage.”
Spanierman, who lived in and later worked in New York for much of her career, relocated just four months ago to Miami from Connecticut. Most recently, she was involved major media event planning for 23 Stories, the events division for glossy Conde Nast titles including Glamour, Wired, Vogue, GQ, Teen Vogue and Bon Appetit. Previously, she worked in fashion as a creative associate for brands including Brian Attwood, Rachel Roy, Nine West, Jones New York, Anne Klein and Boutique 9. Spanierman also served as global sales manager for Theodora & Callum and serviced clients including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Intermix, Henri Bendel, Bloomingdales and Scoop.

In Miami, Spanierman is also active in the non-profit community. She and her husband Gavin Spanierman, owner of Spanierman Modern art gallery in the Design District, are members of PAMM and co-chairs the Art and Soul Event at Givenchy this week. They’re also a 2019 Ambassador family for the March of Dimes and worked on the after-party committee for Miami Children’s Museum’s Imagination Gala. The Spaniermans are proud parents of a toddler son.
