Social Snapshot: David Martin

As President of Miami-based real estate development firm Terra, David Martin leads some of South Florida’s most impactful real estate developments with an emphasis on unlocking value in neighborhoods like Coconut Grove, Miami Beach, Doral and Weston Relentless in his pursuit of design excellence and responsible approaches to development, David has enlisted the world’s top architects and planners as collaborators behind the firm’s signature projects. Mr. Martin graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Business Administration degree and a law degree with a concentration in land use planning. Since co-founding Terra, he has led the company’s operations, sales, and marketing initiatives, as well as overseeing all investment and development projects. Mr. Martin’s commitment to his native South Florida includes involvement in several education, cultural and health organizations. He and his wife are involved in the Miami Children’s Health Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Vizcaya Museums and Gardens, and the WolfsonianFIU.
